Give to the Library

Students at the 2018 InfoFair Kelvin Smith Library

Why Give to the Library?

The Kelvin Smith Library is where our students come to study, research, collaborate and get hands-on experience using digital tools and technologies. KSL also makes knowledge accessible to current and future generations by obtaining and preserving information using our digital and physical resources. Our faculty can access resources for research, preserve their intellectual property, engage and collaborate with colleagues, build digital projects, and engage in programming. KSL is also open to the Cleveland community to access resources, materials, expertise, and tools.

Your gift and/or engagement is essential in enabling us to provide resources and services to the campus and broader community. Help us achieve our mission as the knowledge and creativity commons of Case Western Reserve University.

Where to Give

  • We should be friends! Become a member of the Friends of Kelvin Smith Library and receive the KSL newsletter and an invitation to all KSL events and programs. To become a friend of Kelvin Smith Library, send an email to ksl-mail@case.edu.
  • To make a gift to KSL, please contact Leslie Piovesan (lxp335@case.edu). When making a gift consider the following:
    • Make a tribute gift to commend a graduate or honor the memory of a loved one. This gift can be connected to a book, space, or collections.
    • Planned giving may include bequests, wills, charitable gift annuities, life insurance or retirement plan beneficiary designations.
    • Establish an endowment that will contribute to the mission and goals of KSL for years to come.
