Event Details/Summary

Wind 9tet is a non-traditional wind consort, created to provide a student-led chamber music opportunity. Composed of flute, oboe, clarinet, euphonium, and bassoon, it’s not quite the standard wind group! Wind 9tet was founded January 2022 by Emma Bentley and had their debut performance last April in Harkness Chapel.

Riding on the success of the Clarinet Choir, CWRU Brass Ensemble was formed at the end of Spring 2022 to give Case Western Reserve University community members the chance to make music in an all-brass setting.

CWRU Clarinet Choir provides members of the Case Western Reserve University community with the opportunity to make music in an ensemble with other dedicated clarinetists, while also giving students interested in conducting the opportunity to do so. Founded in February 2022 by Jacob Shaw, the Clarinet Choir has performed at Harkness Chapel alongside another student-led ensemble, the Wind 9tet.
