Kala Mitcham
Undergraduate Student
Kala is a fourth year undergraduate student at CWRU originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Masters degree in Bioethics and Medical Humanities on the pre-medical track. She hopes to specialize in pediatric cardiology, and enjoys spending time with kids and babies whenever she can. Her current work in the lab centers on vascular function studies through myography of murine vessels.
Elena Weitz
Undergraduate Student
Elena is a fourth year undergraduate student at CWRU pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in both Biology and Spanish, hoping to specialize in surgery or emergency medicine in the future. In her free time, Elena enjoys going on walks with her dog and working as an EMT. In the lab, she is currently focusing on endothelial and microglia cell culturing in the context of aging.
