Now in its second year, the Case Western Reserve University STEM Faculty Recruitment and Retention Journal Club is focused on increasing recruitment and retention of historically disenfranchised populations in STEM disciplines.
The third meeting of the spring 2022 semester will take place Thursday, March 24, from noon to 1 p.m. The meeting will be hosted by Joy R. Bostic, PhD, associate dean in the College of Arts and Sciences, associate professor of Religious and Africana Studies, and co-PI for the Humanities in Leadership Learning Series (HILLS).
Attendees will discuss the following articles:
- Role Conflict: How Search Committee Chairs Negotiate Faculty Status, Diversity, and Equity in Faculty Searches
- Colleges Revise Tenure Requirements to Include Diversity and Inclusion Accomplishments
