About the Space
The Thwing Ballroom is a grand space that provides an elegant backdrop to your banquet, conference, lecture or other special event. This space features a wooden dance floor, a built in stage, a projector and screen, and a podium with a microphone. Tables and chairs can be arranged in numerous configurations to fit your needs.

*Group will receive 100% discount for a maximum of 8 hours; 8 hours must be within normal building hours and includes set-up, event/program and break-down; maximum hours are at the discretion of Student Center staff; any additional hours reserved within normal building hours will be charged at a hourly rate as listed.
Select one of the following three furniture options to be included in your reservation:
Option 1: Up to (5) 6' Tables; Up to (25) 54" Round Tables; and Up to (200) Chairs
Option 2: Up to (300) Chairs and up to (5) 6' Tables
Option 3: Up to (42) 6' Tables and up to (84) Chairs
The following equipment is also included in each reservation:
- (1) Podium with Microphone
- (2) Handheld Wireless Microphones
- (1) Sound Cord
- (1) Projector
- (1) Standing Projector Screen
Additional Tables, Chairs, a Laptop and other equipment can also be added to the space.
