Kate Zelasko (she/her) serves as the director of marketing and communications for Campus Services at Case Western Reserve University. She leads the development and execution of strategies that support the university’s broad range of services that enhance academic and campus life.
She began her career managing creative services for the Cleveland Guardians and later served as editor of Cleveland Business Connects (CBC) Magazine. Before joining CWRU, she spent 17 years with FOX Sports Ohio / FanDuel Sports Network, leading communications and social media. Her work supported more than a dozen professional sports teams and spanned public relations, content marketing, social media strategy and media relations.
Kate holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Miami (FL), where she studied both public relations and music, and a master’s degree in marketing and communications from The Ohio State University. She lives in Independence with her husband, two children and two cats. She spends her free time coaching soccer, supporting local theater, playing the piano, and watching her kids grow in sports and on stage.
