Katie Laux (she/her) manages the day-to-day operations of The Daily. Her role entails fielding and copy-editing submissions from individuals across campus, preparing each day’s email send and collaborating with colleagues across UMC to share their work. Additionally, she writes stories to showcase the university's outstanding students, faculty and staff and demonstrate the wide range of activities happening at CWRU.
Katie came to Case Western Reserve in early 2015 shortly after earning a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Originally from Alliance, Ohio, Katie previously interned at The Alliance Review, where she covered youth sports, events and other local news. Katie is working toward a Master of Public Health degree at CWRU. When she’s not working or studying, Katie enjoys spending time with her children, Adeline and Everett.
