Melanie Klass

Internal Communications Manager, Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences

Melanie (she/her) joined UMC after three years with the College of Arts and Sciences as the marketing and communications project manager. Prior to joining Case Western Reserve, she worked in various marketing and communications roles at Eliza Jennings, an aging services nonprofit; Proforma, a print and promotional products agency; and Engage Cleveland, a community engagement organization focused on young professionals. 

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University and resides in Cleveland Heights with her husband, young son and yellow lab, Mitchell. A native and passionate Clevelander, she enjoys exploring the city, tap dancing and frequenting Mitchell's Ice Cream.
