Morgan R. Frank

Associate Professor, Department of Design and Innovation, Weatherhead School of Management

Morgan Frank joined the Design and Innovation faculty in 2026. His research focuses on the empirical ways that technological change and AI impact workers' careers, firms' productivity, and higher education. His research has been published in major peer-reviewed journals including Science, Nature Human Behaviour, PNAS, Science Advances, and Nature Communications, and his insights have been included in major news outlets including The Economist, BBC News, and the World Economic Forum. Morgan has presented his research in several global policy venues including US Federal Reserve Banks, the World Economic Forum Annual meeting, and at the EU. Morgan was previously an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing at the University of Pittsburgh and holds a PhD from the MIT Media Laboratory. He completed his masters of science in applied mathematics as a member of UVM's Computational Story Lab.
