Typically, Commencement Day at Case Western Reserve University includes the university-wide convocation, followed by eight separate diploma ceremonies.
Due to circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 global pandemic, the university’s in-person commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 17, 2020 will not be held as originally planned.
In lieu of our traditional commencement ceremonies, Case Western Reserve University will hold a virtual commencement celebration online on Sunday, May 17.
The virtual ceremony will consist of video messages from university leaders and commencement speakers, along with official degree conferral and personalized recognition for graduates.
These virtual commencement videos will be posted online on May 17 for viewing.
