The library’s annual Homecoming and Reunion Week programming included a talk about one of the world’s most popular beverages, tea. Beth Schreibman Gehring, chairman of education at Cleveland’s Western Reserve Herb Society, shared background on the organization and the garden (located at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens), demonstrated the joy and benefits of taking time for a cup of tea and provided seasonal recipes. After the presentation, attendees enjoyed a selection of teas with Shreibman Gehring’s homemade syrups, sandwiches and pastries. Participants were each given a sachet of wassail blend to take home.
