Case Western Reserve University students, faculty, and staff may use their CaseOneCard to borrow materials from CWRU campus libraries and OhioLINK member institutions.
Use My Account to manage your library account, including viewing due dates, renewing eligible items, and checking the status of requests.

Patrons from eligible OhioLINK member institutions may borrow materials directly from KSL.
What to Know
- A valid home institution ID is required at checkout
- Materials may be returned to either the owning library, or the patron’s home institution
- Renewals are managed by the patron’s home institution
A Visiting Scholar is a researcher temporarily affiliated with the University as faculty, staff, or a student. The Visiting Scholar's sponsoring University department facilitates access to Kelvin Smith Library resources.
Please complete the following to borrow library materials:
- The sponsoring department requests a network ID through the Case Affiliate Request Form.
- After the network ID is created, the department completes the Visiting Scholar application.
Once both are successfully completed and confirmation received, Visiting Scholars are able to borrow materials from KSL with their Case ID.

Emeriti faculty have the same borrowing privileges as current faculty, which includes access to e-resources.
