Give to Special Collections and Archives

Book titled "Inns of the Middle Ages" open to the title page.

Special Collections and University Archives are the repository for unique, rare, and valuable collections that attract faculty, students, and researchers from across the world. Our staff of archivists and librarians work to arrange, describe, preserve, and provide access to these one-of-a-kind resources.

  • Contribute to discretionary funds
    • These gifts broadly support the acquisition of the library’s unique materials, including rare books, manuscripts, and photos with an emphasis on the history of science and technology, performing arts, architecture, and urban planning.
  • Establish a designated gift, such as:
    • Endowed Director of University Archives and Special Collections
    • Endowed Archivist for the Performing Arts Collections (Karamu House and Cleveland Play House)
    • Named student internships for research or experiential learning
    • Named research fellowships for CWRU and visiting scholars

If you are considering making a donation to Special Collections or University Archives (archives, manuscripts, or rare books) please contact Yolanda Cooper (ylc6@case.edu).
