For Students: Your Research and Engagement Librarian (REL) is here to help make your academic career a success! Beginning with your first-year assignment through a thesis or dissertation, Kelvin Smith Library's RELs can help identify resources, assist with research, and teach search techniques that give the best results. First year undergraduate students are assigned a Library Advisor based on their assigned Navigator. Undergraduates and Graduates can work with the librarian that is assigned to their specific subject area within the College of Arts & Sciences, the Case School of Engineering, and the Weatherhead School of Management.
For Faculty and Staff: Research and Engagement Librarians (RELs) are assigned to specific academic departments and can partner to provide library resource instruction, develop assignments around digital or information literacy topics, manage collections, and support research. Each librarian has background and expertise in the departments they serve.
