Baroque Dance Ensemble

About Baroque Dance Ensemble

The Baroque Dance Ensemble was formed to provide an outlet for students to learn and perform 17th- and 18th-century dance. Featuring the Baroque Chamber Ensembles as part of the dance band.

The Baroque Dance Ensemble, created and directed by Julie Andrijeski, provides an outlet for students to learn and perform 17th- and 18th-century dance. In particular, this class welcomes musicians and any others who wish to experience firsthand how dance, and movement in general, can inform their music-making. The ensemble meets collectively twice a week and performs one to three times per semester; dance experience a plus but not essential.
