New Course Time Slot Grid

Starting with Fall 2026 class offerings, there will be a new course time grid and lab time grid!

When scheduling classes for Fall 2026, please use the new time slot grids:

The purpose of these grids is to minimize conflicts between different course offerings, thereby maximizing the probability that students can schedule their desired courses. They also allow efficient use of our classroom resources.

Time Grid Adherence Guidelines

The new course and lab grids were endorsed by the Faculty Senate Committee on Undergraduate Education (FSCUE) and approved by the Faculty Senate in February 2025.

Undergraduate courses and labs are expected to conform to the approved standard teaching times. Adherence to standard times is recommended for any graduate- or professional-level courses with undergraduate enrollment.

Read the full guidelines.
