CWRUVotes, organized by the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL), is a non-partisan volunteer group that works with CCEL to actively promote voter registration, voter education, and political engagement within the CWRU community.

Members of CWRUVotes, learn how to register students to vote and help with outreach events and voter turnout. No experience required- only a passion for empowering students to make their voices heard!

Through a partnership with the Campus Vote Project, CCEL also has two CWRU student Democracy Fellows who help with organizing voter registration and education on CWRU's campus. CWRU’s Democracy Fellows work alongside CWRU Votes to help register voters, provide voter educational materials and bring down voting barriers within the campus community.

What do members of CWRUVotes and the CVP Democracy Fellows do?

  • Register students to vote at tabling and other campus events
  • Co-facilitate Voting 101 workshops
  • Volunteer at National Voter Registration Day and Election Day outreach events
  • Collaborate with other student organizations and groups to plan and facilitate on-campus political engagement events

Email commservice@case.edu for questions or to inquire about opportunities for collaboration.
