In the Event of an Emergency Abroad
Your safety is our top priority. If you experience an emergency while studying abroad, your program leader or on-site program staff should be your first point of contact. They can provide immediate assistance and will notify the Office of Education Abroad if additional support is needed.
You can reach the Office of Education at +1.216.368.2517 during office hours or at studyabroad@case.edu.
In the event of an emergency outside of office hours, contact Case Western Reserve Division of Public Safety Emergency at +1.216.368.3333. They can reach Education Abroad staff immediately for urgent situations.
If appropriate, contact the U.S. Embassy closest to you. In times of emergency, the embassy can often provide advice and resources to U.S. citizens.
