CWRU's Office of Energy and Sustainability is gearing up for REScycle 2024. We're looking for dedicated student workers to help collect and bag these donations for Goodwill.
As a REScycle Liaison, you'll earn $12/hr and receive approval to extend your stay in your residence hall until May 23. It's a great opportunity to make a positive impact on our community and environment while earning some extra cash.
Don't miss out on this chance to be part of something meaningful.
As the academic year draws to a close, REScycle springs into action across campus. It's that time when students bid farewell to their dorms and campus residences, but rather than discarding what they can't carry, they give back to their community. Boxes stationed at every residential hall and on-campus Greek house become repositories for clothing, food, and furniture donations. These items, which might otherwise go unused and into a landfill, find new purpose through the generosity of departing students.
The spirit of giving extends beyond material possessions. Food donation drop-offs, scattered strategically across campus, collect non-perishable goods destined for the Physical Resource Center (PRC). Here, the collective effort of students ensures that resources are redistributed to those in need, fostering a culture of sustainability and compassion.
REScycle isn't just about clearing out closets and rooms—it's about leaving a positive mark as we transition to new chapters in our lives. Together, we make a difference, one donation at a time.
