I am an instructional designer/technologist that assists the faculty and staff to find creative and innovative solutions for their teaching styles. I also assist with using various technologies in the classroom to enhance learning experiences using Adobe software, Canvas, Echo360, Google Apps, Zoom, and more.
I am an avid semi-pro photographer and I have enjoyed a career as a location audio engineer/boom operator. I have recorded the audio for albums, Cable News organizations, commercials (Radio and TV), corporate presentations, concerts, feature films, sporting events, and training videos.
I previously worked at Missouri Western State University as an Instructional Design Technologist. I also co-designed, installed, and maintained the classroom technology for the Fine Arts department, the new Remington science center, Music department classrooms/labs, School of Nursing classrooms/labs, and the Steven Craig School of Business.
I have a bachelors degree in Instructional Design Technology from Walden University, and I have earned degrees in Audio, Film, and Video Production from Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts. I have been very fortunate to be able to use these skills to become an effective Instructional Designer. I hope to assist students where they encounter challenges and discover renewed satisfaction in lifelong learning.
I am fascinated with Astronomy and the physical sciences. I have a sizable music collection that I enjoy daily and I am married to my super-hero wife, Beth and have enjoyed her selfless love and support for over 20 years.
