Jessi Hinz (she/her) recently completed a PhD in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Her research focuses on the intersection of positive relationships at work and positive identity development. In particular, Hinz is interested in how people grow through their relationships at work. Her research has explored growth that stems from positive events (e.g., receiving gratitude, engaging in a coaching relationship, listening) as well as negative events (e.g., personal loss). Her dissertation focused on individuals’ experiences of navigating personal loss and grief in the workplace.
