Why attend: At this 2nd annual ETA Symposium, Weatherhead and Promise Partners plan to bring together over 200 current business owners, leaders that have a goal of owning their own business, along with experts in the local acquisition ecosystem to highlight this proven ETA strategy and local resources. This full-day program will feature multiple workshops and general sessions about ETA and breakout sessions for each audience in an interactive format. Who should attend: Business owners that are interested in learning creative ways to grow their business Business owners that are interested in innovative ways to approach succession planning General managers, executives or business leaders that have an aspiration for business ownership and may not know how to transition out of their existing role The event is co-hosted by the Weatherhead School of Management at CWRU and Promise Partners. Agenda: 8-8:30 a.m.: AM/Full Day Registration - Networking/Breakfast 8:30 a.m.-noon: Workshops: (2) Tracks, (3) Sessions each. Track 1 - for those newer to ETA and, or seeking practical ideas on how to go from employee to business owner using ETA. Track 2 - focused on experienced ETA entrepreneurs, investors, and business owners seeking to scale their business using ETA. Noon-12:30 p.m.: PM Registration - Lunch/Networking 12:30 p.m.-4 p.m.: General Session 4-4:30 p.m.: Event Closing & Networking Registration is available for the full day session or half day sessions (morning or afternoon). Full day attendees will receive continental breakfast and lunch. Parking is available at Case Western Reserve University's (CWRU) Lot 29 Campus Center Garage.
