But, could this fundamental design “feature” be a fatal flaw that keeps organizations from becoming truly prepared for the next big challenge? Thallner explores why excessive focus on closing gaps ends up limiting organizational innovation, hastens worker burnout, and ultimately makes organizations less resilient. Instead, he proposes a new model to help organizations rethink - and reinvent - resilience to reduce the bounce-back burden employees must carry. His organizational resilience model offers a roadmap to scale resilience from the individual to the team, company, and even community levels. Paul Thallner is an expert in organizational change and transformation and author of the new book, Reinventing Resilience. He is deeply committed to ending the global stress epidemic. He focuses on building resilient organizations that deliver on mission and strategy while also enabling workers to spend less time bouncing back from challenges.  Thallner is a Principal and member of the global leadership team at Daggerwing Group, a top-10 change consultancy whose Fortune 100 clients hire the firm to "do change right the first time." He advises global companies, leadership organizations, non-profit advocacy organizations, and start-ups to strengthen resilience at scale to better prepare for the inevitable headwinds we all know are coming. Thallner holds a Master of Science in Positive Organizational Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University, an M.A. in English Literature from The College of New Jersey, and a B.A. in English from Gettysburg College.  Contact Information: Patricia Petty Assoc.
