After serving nearly four years on the Weatherhead Alumni Advisory Council, Jeff Rockwood was elected to the position of president in June. Based on his professional career track, he is the right person for the job and at the right time for Weatherhead. Rockwood's career path can be described as the intersection of technology and impact. During his 20 plus career he has curated high-performance teams and driven successful go-to-market initiatives.
“I am excited and honored to lead the Weatherhead Advisory Council,” said Rockwood. “Honestly, the role is perfect for me because what I do for work mirrors the needs in the Weatherhead council role.”
In his various consulting and leadership experiences Rockwood managed teams in fast-paced, high-growth organizations to achieve very defined goals. In addition, he has led a wide range of functional responsibilities, from marketing research and brand positioning to business analytics and data support systems.
“We need to network together more,” said Rockwood referencing Weatherhead alumni. “There is huge potential in building business relationships and learning better ways to approach business problems through our network.”
