Case Western Reserve named as a top economics and finance university by Research.com

Case Western Reserve University is named as a top economics and finance university by Research.com, ranking #88 in the nation and #213 in the world. 

The ranking is based on the h-index and bibliometric indicators of its leading researchers affiliated with Case Western Reserve in the area of economics and finance. The process involved a detailed examination of 166,880 researchers’ profiles from Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic Graph. 

For the discipline of economics and finance, over 7,858 profiles were examined. Scientists from more than 540 institutions and affiliations were analyzed.

Research.com lists two Weatherhead School of Management current and former faculty members who contributed to the university ranking:

  • Bo Carlsson, professor emeritus of economics
  • Roman Sheremeta, associate professor of economics

Sheremata ranked #734 in the nation and #1203 in the world. Carlson ranked #792 in the nation and #1298 in the world.
