Fowler Center Advisory Board Member, Roberta Baskin, hosted a distinguished panel on Sunday May 19th at the Earth’s Call Launch Event in Aspen, Colorado. Earth’s Call is a new nonprofit organization dedicated to finding and funding innovative solutions to climate change. The Earth’s Call Launch Event was a three-day festival featuring music, presentations, panels, and discussions with the purpose of bringing people together with a passion for the earth.
On Sunday May 19th Roberta hosted a panel discussion titled “Target 2030” that focused on the question “are we on our way to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals and what are the new and exciting pathways forward?” The panel featured Tom Steyer Founder, NextGen America, Caryl Stern CEO, UNICEF USA, Bart Houlahan Co-founder of B Lab, B Corp Movement, and Tommy Tjipadjaja CEO, Green Hope in Jakarta (our 2017 Flourish Prize Honoree for Global Goal 12).
