Fowler Center Presents AIM2Flourish at Latin American PRME Conference

The 8th Meeting of PRME Chapter Latin America and Caribe (LAC) was held at CETYS University in Mexicali, Mexico October 8th-11th. Professors from Mexico, Peru, Colombia, and Brazil shared inspiring experiences and best practices of Social Responsibility impacting the UN Sustainable Development Goals at their university. Professors, business leaders, and students participated in panels and workshops and ongoing conversations throughout the event. Christane Molina, AIM2Flourish Professor at EGADE participated in the panel: Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development: A Latin American Perspective.

George Dionne, AIM2Flourish Ambassador for Latin America, had the opportunity to present the AIM2Flourish initiative along with Luisa Carrillo, who was a 2017 Flourish Prize recipient as one of the student authors of CINIA- A Company Where Disability is a Labor Competence. Luisa shared her testimony as a student author, Flourish Prize recipient, and active AIM2Flourish professor in Mexicali. Highlighting appreciative inquiry at the heart of the student - business leader interview and the AIM2Flourish / Sistema B collaboration Luisa and George connected with the energy and enthusiasm of the participants.

We are grateful to those PRME school professors from Peru, Brazil, Columbia and Mexico who made a commitment after the session to use AIM2Flourish for the first time at their universities this academic year.
