On July 31, Fowler Center Scholar Annie Morino and Kent State University teammate Garima Jha, presented their project for the EDGE Fellowship Program at the MidTown Tech Hive. As part of the program, EDGE Fellows help Northeast Ohio companies validate and pursue new business ideas.
Annie and Garima worked with Regency Construction Services, a woman-owned business, to explore growth opportunities in the Columbus private, commercial, and public construction markets. During the project they provided quality market research and actionable recommendations for senior leaders at the company.
Many of the EDGE Fellows' projects go on to generate new revenue for the region, and over 60% of EDGE Fellows choose to stay in Northeast Ohio after graduation.
