Why did you join the AAC?

My wife, Bhuvana Krishnan also went to Weatherhead for her MBA and we have very fond memories of professors and peers who have had an impact on us professionally and while at school. I have always wanted to help Weatherhead students with finding opportunities and mentoring them in possible ways but have not found the time to invest in this activity. I finally decided to join the alumni group to see how I can collaborate with other WSOM alumni to help raise the profile and rankings of Weatherhead. I had fond memories of and was very impressed by Scott Cowen when he was the Dean of WSOM and when I saw he was interim President at Case, I decided to write a note to Weatherhead AAC to help.

Through all the support of my faculty and staff, I was able to secure multiple internships for global leaders in my field, meet unique individuals from around the world, and combine my background of accounting with my passions for entrepreneurship to truly think beyond the possible and start my first post-graduate career at the intersection of both. With my gratitude, I feel compelled to give back to the institutions that helped me grow and thrive. I will bring my fresh perspective as a recent graduate to the AAC and help future generations of accountants, entrepreneurs, and business professionals do the same.
