Participate in DM Student Larry Clay's Research

Hello,

I am reaching out to invite you to participate in a study that I am conducting as part of my ongoing doctoral research at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.  Your participation in this study is voluntary.

My research focus is on stakeholder’s whole system strength-based approaches to building innovative capacities and resilience in cities.  For this study, which is a core part of my dissertation, I have developed a survey instrument that attempts to examine the strengths-based strategy, (SOAR) for whole system designing of what we call community flourishing. Relevant stakeholders in this study are inclusive of business owners, corporate business executives, suppliers, academia, governmental leaders, public/civic managers, NGOs (social, economic, and environmental focused), community activists, economic and community development managers, impact investors, and concerned citizens.

The intent of this study is to make contributions to the ongoing academic and practitioner literature regarding stakeholder theory, whole system strength-based strategies, such as Appreciative Inquiry, and outcomes towards designing a flourishing city.

For this survey, the sample of respondents consist of municipal employees, public works managers sustainability manager/directors, city planners, developers, elected officials, environmentalist, non-profit/non-government managers (NGOs), academic professors and educators, business leaders, for profit organization managers, business suppliers, Corporate Socially Responsible (CSR) managers, sustainability consultants, entrepreneurs, community activists, and concerned citizens, as well as any other unmentioned stakeholder in a community.

The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete.  If you could also send this survey through your network, we would be gladly appreciative.  To access the survey please click https://cwru.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9vLNkeO9D3kARgx or paste https://cwru.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9vLNkeO9D3kARgx in your internet browser.

Thank you for your participation.
