George Vairaktarakis, Professor of Operations and Co-Director of the MSM-Operations & Supply Chain Management Program, was recently appointed Senior Editor at the Manufacturing Operations Department of the Production & Operations Management journal.
The journal is one of four flagship journals in the field of Operations Management publishing scientific research into problems, interest and concerns of managers who manage product and process design, operations, and supply chains.
In his role, Vairaktarakis will be acting as a judge protecting the priorities of the journal and the interest of the authors to advance relevant high quality research on real-world problems.
He was also recently appointed Associate Editor at the Project Management and Scheduling Department of Naval Research Logistics; a premier peer-reviewed journal in operations research, applied statistics, and quantitative modeling, with special interest in applications covering the full spectrum of logistics problems.
