Q: What are you up to this summer?
I have a commercial real estate internship with the Retail Services Group at Colliers in Cleveland.
Q: How did you find out about this opportunity?
I connected with Colliers during the Cleveland City Trek last fall. After a few mutual follow-up discussions, I was offered an intern position with the retail team.
Q: What has been your favorite part of the internship so far?
My favorite part of interning with Colliers is the company culture and learning opportunities. Colliers corporate announced its acquisition of the Cleveland-Akron and Cincinnati offices in March but the integration was just finalized as of July 1, so it has been very cool to participate in that transition.
Q: What're you looking to get out of this experience?
My educational background is a bit unique. I studied engineering and business at Michigan State University before starting the JD and MBA programs here at Case Western Reserve University. I am excited to be using skills from my various classroom experiences while learning about the commercial real estate industry.
