The Weatherhead School of Management is excited to announce its 2022 Alumni Awards winners: Kirk Neiswander (MGT '81), Duwain Pinder (MGT '10) and Sherry Sanger (MGT '95 and '16).
Weatherhead launched the annual Alumni Awards in 1993 to establish a tradition of honoring living alumni who personify the school's mission of developing transformational ideas and outstanding leaders for the advancement of business and society. These alumni are recognized for their professional achievements, personal accomplishments, and dedication to Weatherhead, Case Western Reserve University, or their communities.
Recipients will be honored during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend at Weatherhead’s Alumni Reception and Awards on Friday, Oct. 7. Registration and more information for the event can be found here.

Distinguished Alumni Award
The Distinguished Alumni Award honors alumni who have demonstrated professional achievement of the highest caliber in the management of a for-profit or nonprofit organization. This year’s recipient is Kirk Neiswander (MGT '81), president and founder of the Entrepreneurs EDGE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that drives growth for Northeast Ohio mid-market companies by serving as a strategic resource for CEOs and their leadership teams. Neiswander received his MBA from Weatherhead.
Young Alumni Award
The Young Alumni Award recognizes an individual under the age of 35 for their significant career achievements, successful formation of a successful enterprise, commitment to their alma mater, community or humankind, or recognition by colleagues and peers for outstanding leadership and administrative abilities. This year’s recipient is Duwain Pinder (MGT '10), partner at McKinsey & Company. Pinder graduated with bachelor’s degrees in management, economics and banking and finance from Weatherhead.
Outstanding Alumni Award
The Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award honors alumni for their leadership, dedication and service excellence rendered to Weatherhead, Case Western Reserve, their community, or a public or nonprofit organization. This year’s recipient is Sherry Sanger (MGT '95 and '16), EVP marketing and chief marketing officer at Penske Transportation Solutions. Sanger graduated with her MBA and PhD from Weatherhead.
