Earlier this month, Weatherhead Dean Manoj Malhotra announced the school is launching a strategic planning process with the goal of developing a new Weatherhead Strategic Plan during this academic year. The new plan will replace the current plan developed in 2009 and refreshed in 2014. A Strategic Plan Steering Committee has been created to drive the process forward, ensuring the conversations that inform the new plan are inclusive and wide-ranging – engaging both internal and external voices from the Weatherhead community.
“It is my desire that this process broadly represents the full scope of Weatherhead stakeholders, be bold in laying out a market-driven and forward-looking vision for the future of the school and be supportive of the strategic goals of Case Western Reserve University,” said Dean Malhotra. “While the environment for business education is tough and we face many challenges, I am also confident that by working together we can create a path forward that will enhance our status as a leading institution of higher learning.”
The Strategic Plan Steering Committee consists of members from all constituents of the school including, faculty, staff, students and alumni from the business community. During July and August, the Committee will meet to build the planning process, which will include multiple opportunities for the Weatherhead community to share their insights and help inform the final plan. This process and engagement opportunities will be announced early in the fall semester.
