Due to ongoing coronavirus concerns, the Weatherhead School of Management has announced it is canceling the 2020 Weatherhead 100 awards and gala event that was set to take place in December.
In what would have been its 33rd year, the annual event was established to recognize elite companies in Northeast Ohio for their example of leadership, growth and success, while celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship in the region.
“Although we were very much looking forward to celebrating together at the Weatherhead 100 event this year, the safety of our attendees is our top priority,” said Shirley Leonard, Associate Dean, Development and External Relations. “We are highly anticipating the event in 2021.”
To stay connected and continue sharing the spirit of the Weatherhead 100 ideals to the business community, various members of the Weatherhead School of Management community will conduct webinars throughout the fall and spring focusing on technology in business, the future of healthcare and other hot topics with expert guest speakers and moderators.
