Weatherhead’s Chris Laszlo delivers keynote address at Sustainability Summit

Weatherhead School of Management Professor of Organizational Behavior Chris Laszlo gave the keynote address for the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s inaugural Sustainability Summit at the Huntington Convention Center on Jan. 24.

Laszlo’s speech on the topic of, “Sustainability Trends, Challenges and Opportunities,” was heard by the more than 400 attendees at the sold-out event. 

“The way we need to think about sustainability and ESG is in terms of value creation,” he said. “It drives business innovation and needs to be integrated into core business strategies and operations.”

The half-day summit––which included panel discussions and breakout sessions––was held to discuss the importance of sustainability for business growth and what resources exist for companies to use.
