What makes you most excited about joining Weatherhead?

I've long admired the Weatherhead School of Management's pedigree for innovation and thought leadership. In a previous role with Crain's Cleveland Business, I had a hand in organizing the special Weatherhead 100 issue, and it was a privilege to be involved with such an ambitious and respected institution. Now that I'm on the team that helps tell the story of Weatherhead, I'm very much looking forward to doing my part to strengthen the brand from the inside.

Given the university at large's reputation for being on the cutting edge of research in a variety of fields and disciplines, Weatherhead is a thrilling place to be, professionally. I'm excited to be working closely with some of our brilliant faculty and students as the school continues to evolve and reinvent itself.

What do you look forward to working in the University Circle area?

There's a palpable energy about working in a lively campus environment that makes each new day a fun challenge. I've been out of college for some time now, but being on the CWRU campus and exploring the University Circle neighborhood almost makes me feel like a student again! I'm hoping to make time for more visits to the beautiful parks and museums in the area now that I work nearby. Also, as a fan of craft beer, I can't deny that being able to stop by the Jolly Scholar every now and then is a huge perk!

My main passion project and hobby is voice acting - I've narrated two audiobooks and have performed in several audiodrama/radio plays, along with some other assorted projects. I enjoy the occasional ride down a bike trail and I play recreation-league sand volleyball when weather permits. I'm also a big music fan; I attend live shows whenever I can at Cleveland's many awesome venues and I even play a little bass guitar myself. Lastly but certainly not least, my wife and I are expecting our first child this fall, so fatherhood is coming up as my next big adventure.
