Donald E. Washkewicz is the Chairman of Parker Hannifin Corporation and served as its President from 2006 to February 1, 2015 and its Chief Executive Officer from July 2001 to February 1, 2015. He joined Parker in 1972, serving as the President of Parker-Hannifin Corporation from February 2000 to October 2004 and Chief Operating Officer from February 2000 to July 2001. He served as Vice President of Parker Hannifin Corporation and President of the Hydraulics Group of Parker Hannifin Corporation from October 1997 to February 2000. Washkewicz served as Vice President of Operations at Fluid Connectors Group of Parker Hannifin Corporation from October 1994 to October 1997. He has been a Director of Parker Hannifin Corporation since February 2000. He serves as a Trustee of Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, Inc.
Washkewicz received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University in 2002, and the 2002 George B. Davis Distinguished Alumnus Award from Cleveland State University and Fenn College of Engineering. In addition, Washkewicz received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2003.
Washkewicz graduated from Cleveland State University, where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He holds Masters of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve.
