Breen served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sherwin-Williams Co. from January 1979 to October 1999 and its President from March 1999 to October 1999. He serves as the Chairman of UHHS/CSAHS-Cuyahoga, Inc., Trustee of Catholic Charities Corporation and a Director of MTD Holdings Inc. He has also served as a Trustee of The Achievement Centers for Children, John Carroll University, the Musical Arts Association (The Cleveland Orchestra) and University Hospitals of Cleveland.
