Linda McHugh entered her role as the Cleveland Clinic's chief human resource officer in May 2016. McHugh began at the Clinic 35 years ago as a medical technologist in microbiology. She most recently served as executive administrator for Cleveland Clinic and the office of the CEO, where she developed and implemented several programs, such as the Art & Medicine Program, the Office for a Healthy Environment and a centralized call center.
McHugh has also helped manage and expand the cardiac surgery affiliate program model and has served on more than 20 institution wide committees as the assistant secretary for the boards of trustees and directors. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Council on World Affairs and Notre Dame- Cathedral Latin High School where she chairs the Operations Committee of the Board.
McHugh received her bachelor of science degree in medical technology from Bowling Green State University and her MBA from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.
