Bares served as Lubrizol's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for eight years and President for over 20 years. In those roles, he directed his company's global expansion, including making significant business acquisitions and overseeing their financing. As a member of several public company boards during his career, he has chaired numerous key committees and has also served as the lead or presiding director.
