Combined Bachelor's/Master's Programs

Why Start Your Master's Early?

Combined Bachelor's/Master's programs allow you to apply up to a set number of graduate credit hours toward both your undergraduate and graduate degrees—meaning you spend less time in school and pay for fewer total credit hours than if you completed the two degrees back to back. For many students, that translates to finishing a master's degree in as little as one additional year after completing their bachelor's.

Beyond the time and cost savings, you'll enter the workforce—or continue to a doctoral program—with advanced credentials and graduate-level experience that set you apart.

Who Can Apply?

Combined Bachelor's/Master's programs are open to current CWRU undergraduates who meet the eligibility requirements set by their program of interest. Most programs recommend applying during your sophomore or junior year, so the earlier you start exploring, the more options you'll have.
