Spartans Step Up
Case Western Reserve University has launched Spartans Step Up focusing on CWRU’s approach to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Emotional Intelligence - the Weatherhead Way
Delivered completely online, this self-paced program presents an outline of the twelve competencies that comprise the EI and SI model. Building these critical emotional and social competencies serves as the essential core for outstanding leadership. They also act as potential inhibitors of executive derailment.
This high-impact learning experience features a combination of conceptual and skill-based modules with reflective exercises to support and encourage learning, and to sustain behavior change. It is based on the Emotional and Social Intelligence Leadership Competency Model, developed by Daniel Goleman and Richard Boyatzis, Professor of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University.
Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)

Academic Impressions
CWRU and the Office of the Provost partnered with Academic Impressions to provide free access to training, tools, research and resources for personal and leadership development. Anyone with a case.edu email address can opt-in to this online opportunity at any time.
The Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center
The pandemic has caused most live music venues to cancel their schedules, including the Maltz Performing Arts Center (MPAC) at Case Western Reserve University. But the Maltz Performing Arts Center has come up with an alternative for audiences to still enjoy live music without being able to attend shows in-person because of the health risks: a new live-streamed concert series, called “LIVE Streamed @ Silver Hall.”
The series, which opens Wednesday, Aug. 5, will be offered for free and will feature the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra’s return to the Maltz Center.
