Writers Center Stage

The William N. Skirball Writers Center Stage Series provides intimate access to the literary world's best writers. The 18th season of this popular series continues in 2021-2022 with these events:

  • Amor Towles - novelist, author of Rules of Civility and A Gentleman in MoscowTUESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. 
  • Min Jin Lee - award-winning fiction writer, author of PachinkoTUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. 
  • Carmen Maria Machado - author of the best-selling memoir, In the Dream House, speaking with Rumaan Alam - author of the 2020 thriller, Leave the World BehindTUESDAY, MARCH 15, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. 
  • Isabel Wilkerson - Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, author of The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration and Caste: The Origins of Our DiscontentsTHURSDAY, APRIL 7, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. 
  • Anthony Doerr - author of the best-seller All The Light We Cannot SeeMONDAY, MAY 2, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.
