Want to study abroad but worried about finances? Nancy Issa, the associate director of university financial aid, works directly with students who wish to use their financial aid for study abroad. The information below is provided for your reference, but you may also hear her speak directly about CWRU's study abroad financial aid policies in this video. By Program Type & Term

Financing a study abroad experience differs by program type and term. We offer academic-year and semester, summer, short-term faculty-led, independent academic travel, and internship, service-learning and research abroad programs.

Scholarship Information

A multitude of scholarships are available to study abroad students. These include CWRU-specific scholarships, scholarships for LGBTQ+ and students of color, first-generation students, and program- and region-specific scholarships. Be sure to plan early and apply before the scholarship deadlines!
