Mary Bailey-Swanzy Offered CDC Public Health Associate Fellowship

Mary Bailey-Swanzy, MPH, MS has been offered a Public Health Associate fellowship by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  The competitive, two-year training program allows participants the opportunity to work with public health agencies and nongovernmental organizations in the United States and US territories alongside other professionals across a variety of public health settings.  More information on the program is available here.

Graduating in May 2018, Mary is the first graduate of the combined MS in Nutrition/Master of Public Health degree program offered jointly by the Department of Nutrition and the Master of Public Health Program.  She has been placed with the Washington State Department of Health in Olympia, Washington to complete her fellowship program.  The Department congratulates Mary on her outstanding achievement.
