We are pleased to announce that Catherine Rogers McManus, PhD, RDN, LD has received two awards for excellence in dietetics education.
Dr. McManus has been selected as Ohio’s 2026 recipient of the Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award for her significant achievements, service, and commitment to the future of the profession and association. The award will be presented at the 2026 OAND Annual Conference on April 10 at Ohio University Dublin, Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. McManus has also been selected for the NDEP North Central Region Outstanding Dietetic Educator Award in the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) category for 2026. The Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award program is to recognize the teaching, mentoring, and leadership activities of faculty in ACEND®-accredited dietetics education programs. One educator can be selected from each of the five program types (DT, DPD, DI, CP, FEM) in each geographic region. The award will be presented at the NDEP annual meeting at the Asilomar Conference Grounds, in Pacific Grove, Calif. from March 12-14.
