The Department of Nutrition is currently home to approximately 230 students, including PhD, MS, and undergraduates. Our 21 faculty prioritize students’ professional success as evidenced by 6 faculty receiving University/ national awards and 4 additional nominations for excellence in teaching & mentoring during the prior academic year. Our faculty were also scholastically busy with their 47 national presentations, 45 publications, 36 abstracts, several chapters and numerous new grant awards received during the prior year. The Department also launched several new classes including Plant Based Diets in Health and Disease, Case Cooks: Ethnic Eats, the Sages version of Metabolic, Health & Nutrition Assessments, Culinary and Lifestyle Medicine Coaching I, and Case Cooks: Sports and Performance.
