The On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) program can help you connect with CWRU's best and brightest students for full-time professional, internship and practicum positions. Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education offers ten interview rooms that comfortably hold one or two interviewers and one interviewee.
The OCI program is managed through Handshake. You can request specific dates, list various opportunities, manage applications and contact students through Handshake.
Your schedule request will be reviewed within two business days of submission. Upon review, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail. For assistance with OCI, contact our Employers Relations team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When to Recruit
Employers report that recruiting is most effective when it is coordinated with a career fair. Interview dates are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so request early! We have established the following sessions for this academic year:
- Fall General On Campus Interviews: June 17 to November 29
- Accounting OCI: September 16 to 30
- Fall OCI Friday: October 4
- Spring General On Campus Interviews: January 6 to April 17 excluding Spring Break (March 9 to 13)
- Spring OCI Tuesday: February 11
In the event that you need to reschedule or cancel your schedule, please call our office at 216.368.4446 or e-mail us at email@example.com as soon as possible. We will work with you to determine the best method to communicate with applicants/candidates.
Your interviews will be held in Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education's interview suite, 229 Sears Building. From the main quad, you will enter Sears on the third floor. Once inside, go down one level to access Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education.
For information about transportation, hotels, restaurants, University Circle and visiting our campus, please review "Visit CWRU."
We recommend parking in Lot 53, adjacent to the Veale Center. This lot is the closest to Sears Building. Cost to park is $10 per day, per car. Please arrive early because the garage fills quickly. The Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education regrets we are unable to validate parking for students or employers participating in on-campus interviews.
Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to your first scheduled interview. Your interview room will contain a folder with your schedule, candidate resumes (unless you selected Room Reservation Only), a list of lunch options, a campus map and an evaluation form. Complimentary water, coffee and hot tea are available in the Employer Lounge. Wireless internet is available throughout campus.
For more information on reasonable offer guidelines, please refer to the NACE Principles website.
If you'd like to interview CWRU students but can't make it to campus, please contact us and we'll help you arrange virtual interviews.
