An internship is a pre-professional work experience that may be related to a student's major or career goals. Internships may take place over one semester or for a customized period of time. They are typically paid and full-time or part-time.
An ideal internship is one that reflects a partnership among the sponsoring organization, the student and Case Western Reserve University.
